PLEASE NOTE: The Windows Internet Dial Client requires the following Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 2000 SP 4 or later, and Windows XP Home or Professional SP 1 or later. Internet Dial Client has also been tested on Windows XP Professional SP 2.
This dialer provides over 30,000 access numbers in over 150 counties worldwide. Please note that usage of the GC Internet Dial Client outside North America and Canada incurs global roaming usage charges in addition to your monthly charge for North America usage. Global Roaming charges are billed on a per minute basis based on the Region the call is placed in.
By clicking on the "CONTINUE - I ACCEPT" button below and continuing to download, install and use the GC Internet Dial software (the "Software"), you agree that the use of the Software and Global Crossing's Internet Dial Service (the "Service") by you and/or by any end user to whom you make the Software and/or Service available, will be subject to and in accordance with the following terms:
1. Service Description. The Service provides customers the ability to access the Internet or communicate remotely with their corporate network from different geographic locations. Network access is provided via basic telephone or ISDN operated by Global Crossing and global partners. Global Crossing reserves the right to change access numbers used in connection with the Service. There is no supply of equipment in connection with the Service.
2. Charges. You, or your company, if you have been issued with a username/ID by your company, (in either case, the "Customer"), agree to pay all charges associated with use of the Service (including global roaming charges which may arise out of your use of the Service outside of United States and Canada). Global roaming charges vary based on the country from which the Global Crossing Internet Dial Network is accessed, and apply in addition to the flat rate access fee of $19.95 per month for 100 hours of usage in North America. Any usage above 100 hours of usage in the US and Canada will incur additional 'per minute' charges. Global Crossing is NOT responsible for any call charges incurred by the Customer attaining access to the Internet Dial network. Customer's usage charges are based on start and end data collected in Global Crossing's Proxy Radius Server. Global Crossing reserves the right to modify its standard pricing for the Service upon 30 days written notice to Customer.
3. Network Availability Target. The Network Availability target for the Service is 99% (Ninety Nine percent) monthly. "Network Availability" is defined as the ability to access the Internet Dial service via the Internet Dial Client once the Customer obtains the number used to access the Client. No credits apply in connection with performance against the Network Availability objective.
4. Data Policy. In order to use the Service, you must provide your user name/identification. By virtue of your use of the Service, Global Crossing may come into possession of information and data regarding you, and anyone you allow to use the Service. This information and data includes (i) user name/identification, (ii) date, time and duration of session, (iii) technical or network data provided to or obtained by Global Crossing in connection with the provision of the Service, and (iv) country, state, and city where the Service was used by you. Collection and processing of the information above is required in order for Global Crossing to provide you with the Service. All such information shall be processed by Global Crossing in accordance with Global Crossing's Privacy Policy. By downloading and installing the Software, you acknowledge and consent to the processing of this information by Global Crossing on this basis.
5. General Terms of Use. Each username/ID issued to you (or your company, if you have been given a username/ID by your company) may only be used for an individual user. You may not have multiple simultaneous connections with a single Service account. You agree to use the Software and the Service in compliance with Global Crossing's Acceptable Use and Security Policies (collectively, the "Policy"), which Policy may be updated from time to time. Generally, without limiting the Policy, you may not use Global Crossing's facilities, equipment or the Service, or those of any affiliate who contributes to the provision of the Service, in any manner which: (i) violates any applicable law, regulation, administrative or other decision, treaty, or tariff; (ii) violates reasonable acceptable use policies of any other provider, host, network operator, or service provider with services or facilities accessed through the Global Crossing network, if such violation would pose a liability risk to Global Crossing; or (iii) infringes on the intellectual property rights of any entity. You are responsible for maintaining awareness of the current Policy and adhering to the Policy as it may be amended from time to time.
