Global Crossing Network Integrity Service
The larger and more complex your network, the more difficult it becomes to monitor and manage the entire infrastructure - ranging from remote sites to individual application utilization. Network Integrity Service removes the complexities of monitoring your entire network by collecting and filtering port and circuit information. Data is displayed in a simple, incisive format, enabling you to immediately identify trouble areas or potential conditions that may put your critical network resources and, ultimately, your business in jeopardy.
Knowing the operational state of ports and circuits is critically important. With Network Integrity Service, determining the health of your network is just a click away. Performance information for each network is rolled up and presented in counters under service icons that succinctly indicate outage conditions, performance errors, warnings of impending service-affecting problems and overall health. "A picture is worth a thousand words" and sharing the same view of your network between us facilitates effective and efficient troubleshooting. Reports also ensure that we are in compliance with your Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Global Crossing Applications Integrity Service
Enterprises are rapidly deploying VoIP, video, CRM and ERP on their networks. When these latency-intolerant applications share converged networks with other applications, particularly those with high bandwidth utilization, the need for application-level performance monitoring and reporting quickly becomes apparent to both network managers and end users. Global Crossing Applications Integrity Service provides near real-time information for live monitoring and historical data for analysis and reporting on all network traffic end-to-end, including advanced statistics on latency, jitter and packet loss, as well as general utilization. Capturing application-specific performance data is crucial for measuring compliance with Service Level Agreements in support of VoIP, video and other services with critical Class of Service (CoS) requirements.
Applications Integrity Service provides the information necessary for network managers to identify and resolve the causes of performance issues that are network-based versus those that are application-specific. With historical data, network managers are enabled to optimize current network configuration and utilization, as well as plan for changes in network design or the mix of applications supported.
Global Crossing VoIP Integrity (VI) Service
Global Crossing VoIP Integrity Service™ provides key performance reporting and indicators, including per-call Mean Opinion Score (MOS) metrics, in addition to the standard features of Global Crossing Network Integrity and Global Crossing Applications Integrity Services. VI is a natural complement to Global Crossing's Enterprise VoIP Services. From a recent press release:
"Global Crossing VoIP Integrity Service demonstrates Global Crossing's commitment to enhancing its position on the leading edge of VoIP services," stated Brian Washburn, principal analyst at Current Analysis. "This latest Global Crossing VoIP capability enables enterprises to exercise greater monitoring capability and control over their voice network while realizing the efficiencies of IP technology."
"VoIP Integrity Service is built with the Visual UpTime Select VoIP module from Fluke Networks. By adding the newly released VoIP module into their existing Application Performance Management portfolio, Global Crossing becomes the first carrier anywhere to offer such market-leading functionality," said Steve Hindman, vice president for carrier channels at Fluke Networks. "Global Crossing's APM customers will have the ability to view per-call MOS data for VoIP conversations on their MPLS network, and then to intelligently troubleshoot any problem calls."
