Global Crossing Dedicated Internet Access is flexible, scalable Internet access service provisioned directly onto the Global Crossing fiber-based network backbone moving data at 2.5 Gbps. It is available as fixed/full-pipe, variable/tiered or variable/burstable service, from 64 Kbps service all the way up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
SERVICE OPTIONS/SPEEDS
- Full-Pipe Service provides fixed bandwidth capacities from E1/T1 to OC48/STM-16 or 10GigE.
- Tiered services provide fixed bandwidth capacities from E1/T1 to OC48/STM-16 or 10GigE provisioned on a higher capacity port to enable fast capacity changes due to increased bandwidth needs.
- Burstable service provides burstable bandwidth capacities with minimum commitment levels less than full port, with the flexibility to burst on demand. Ability to request a CAP/Rate Limit to restrict the maximum burst capability exists. Available from DS-3/E-3 to OC48/STM-16 or 10GigE speeds.
- LAN/PHY & WAN/PHY services available in select markets.
