Global Crossing to Present at Jefferies Communications & Media Conference

Florham Park, NJ - September 15, 2005 -- Global Crossing (NASDAQ: GLBC) announced today that its executives will give presentations during two sessions of Jefferies & Company Inc.'s Third Annual Communications & Media Conference. Jean Mandeville, the company's chief financial officer, will provide an overview of Global Crossing's business on Monday, September 19, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Phil Metcalf, managing director for the UK, will speak about Global Crossing (UK) Telecommunications Ltd., Global Crossing's wholly owned subsidiary in the region, on September 19, starting at 2:10 p.m..
