Carrier Connections

Welcome from Dan Wagner
Chief Information Officer
Executive Vice President, Enterprise Services

Greetings:
There's a lot going on at Global Crossing and I wanted to tell you how some of the initiatives under way are focused on you and on improving the experience you have when you do business with us. In an effort to concentrate even more fully on helping you meet your business's needs, we're taking purposeful steps to improve your customer experience. We're also broadening our portfolio of products and services, and enhancing the value we deliver to you by innovating on them with new features and functionality. Dan Wagner

One of the most important initiatives we're working on this year will redefine the way we do business with you. Delivering a superior customer experience - as defined by you - continues to be a top priority for us.

So far in this area, we've been doing a good job - at least that's what you're telling us. According to our most recent quarterly Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) survey, 98 percent of global enterprise customers are "satisfied" with Global Crossing, while seven out of 10 of you are "very satisfied." You said we're delivering especially high quality Customer Service Center, Service Activity, and Billing support to you.

Although we're glad to hear it and we've worked hard to achieve these results, we don't intend to rest on our laurels. We know we need to stay flexible as we continue to provide converged IP solutions to you on a global scale. And we know we need to continue to look at your business challenges from your point of view.

In my role as CIO, I've become familiar with some of the forces impacting your businesses -- mergers and consolidation, competition at every turn, lengthy and expensive development cycles, and initiatives to reduce cost, simplify your infrastructure, increase productivity and improve your customers' experience.

We can relate because we're feeling many of the same pressures. And we plan to apply the experience we've gained during our transformation to challenges you may be facing.

The impact of our industry consolidation, for example, will strengthen the reach, scale and breadth of services we can offer you. As you know, we've acquired Fibernet and soon we expect to complete our proposed acquisition of Impsat, a leading Latin America-based provider of data transmission, internet, data center and telephony solutions. We've assembled a robust portfolio of capabilities that's mapped to a well-defined product vision - all with your businesses in mind.

We know that by honing our focus on your business's needs, further improving your customer experience and continuing to develop and debut innovative products and services that help you reach your business goals you'll agree we're enhancing the value we deliver to you.

That's our goal. That's our commitment.
